On October 24, the project Application Demonstration of Graded Rehabilitation Medical Service Platform Based on Internet of Things under Shanghai Bandao Communication Technology Co., Ltd successfully passed the acceptance of “Shanghai Economic and Information Work Committee” and was well received by the experts at the meeting.
This project was declared in the name of Shanghai Bandao Communication Technology in 2016. For two years, and by utilizing the technologies such as the Internet, Internet of Things, wearable sensing, cloud computing and so on, the project created a cloud platform for intelligent rehabilitation diagnosis and treatment and two-way hierarchical referral services for rehabilitation departments of rehabilitation hospitals and general hospitals. It has established a complete rehabilitation diagnosis and treatment system solution based on Internet of Things to realize real-time monitoring and tracking of the whole process of patient rehabilitation as well as the real-time, effective and safe uploading of patient rehabilitation training data. The project is helpful to strengthen the links between the top three hospitals and all levels of rehabilitation institutions in the medical association, thus forming the status of complementary advantages, business linkage and resource sharing, optimizing the allocation of medical resources between regions and both internal and external ones, and realizing the normalization, standardization, electronization and automation of rehabilitation treatment and referral processes, so as to achieve the high quality and efficiency of the rehabilitation treatment services.
The project is based on the platform of cloud services and is accessed with independently developed intelligent wearing equipment (intelligent heart rate monitor, intelligent shoe gait evaluation system and intelligent rehabilitation machine), thus building a cloud-based rehabilitation graded diagnosis and treatment solution on the platform of Internet of Things and realizing the trinity “1+1+1” Internet of Things graded rehabilitation big data network platform service architecture.
The project has already been put into use in 12 community health service centers, such as top three hospitals (Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University), Second-class Hospital (Shanghai Third Rehabilitation Hospital, Shanghai Fourth Rehabilitation Hospital), and Community Health Service Center (Nanjing West Road Community Health Center in Jing’an District, Cao Jiadu Community Health Center in Jing’an District). After the acceptance of the project is completed, it will be further popularized nationwide so that the project results can be applied to the areas with needs. Through the accumulation of this project and the application experience of medical association construction, the business results can also be applied to home elderly care and community elderly care. Thanks to the continuous improvement and perfection of the rehabilitation platform and products, it is able to truly realize the one-stop Internet of Things grading diagnosis and treatment service platform combining medical treatment, nursing and rehabilitation.
