In June 2019, approved by Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, Shanghai Bandao Communication was awarded “Pilot Enterprise of Patent Work in Shanghai” and granted with certificate of honor.
Since January 2019, under the overall planning and deployment of the company leadership, led and organized by the Department of Legal Affairs of the company, the company carried on application of pilot enterprises for patent work. Based on current patent management of the company, management system and patent achievements were sorted out, the highlights and characteristics of patent work were summarized, the application materials were collated and compiled. After great efforts over half year, and passing through such procedures as the expert group discussion and evaluation, the deliberation of the office meeting of the Director of Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration and online publicity, the company outperformed nearly 600 application enterprises & institutions and was identified as “Pilot Enterprise of Patent Work in Shanghai”.
The acquisition of this honorary title marks that our company has met the basic requirements for the implementation of Shanghai intellectual property strategy, and the level of patent creation, application, protection, management and technological innovation has entered the ranks of excellent enterprises. This not only the affirmation and encouragement to the achievements in patent work made by the company in recent years, but also puts forward higher standards and requirements for the company to carry on patent work in next stage.
Taking this as a new starting point, the Department of Legal Affairs will further improve the patent management system, perfect the patent management system, strengthen the transformation of patent achievements, consolidate the foundation of patent management, realize the strategic landing of patent, and promote the patent work to a higher level; taking this as breakthrough, the Department of Legal Affairs will construct the competitive advantage of intellectual property rights of the company, enhance the awareness of patent risk prevention and protection ability, and give full play to the supporting role of patents in the process of the company transformation and development; and taking this as a great opportunity, the Department of Legal Affairs will further improve the scientific and technological innovation ability and technological research and development level of the company, stimulate the innovation enthusiasm of employees, enhance the core competitiveness, and inject new impetus into the overall and better development of the company.
