Shekou employees of Bandao participate in blood donation to care for life
On the morning of April 1, the blood donation car that is dispatched by Shenzhen Red Cross Blood Center arrived downstairs Shekou headquarters of Bandao Stock, a total of 34 staffs at Shekou headquarters participated in the blood donation and after screening by medical workers, a total of 23 people donated blood successfully.
The individual blood collection is between 300ml and 400 ml. Some employees donated the blood for the first time and the reporter randomly interviewed Xu Dan, an employee who was born after 1990 and donated 300ml for the first time. She said that donating blood for the first time in Bandao was of great significance, blood donation was a chivalrous deed of loving life and a relay of love, as long as the body allowed, she would continue to participate in this activity later. The cumulative collection of blood donation was 8,150 ml.
It is reported that 1,140 employees from the four places have participated in voluntary blood donation and the cumulative blood volume has been up to 193,200 ml since 1999 when Bandao Stock organized staff to participate in voluntary blood donation till April 2016. This activity is held once a year, reflecting the employees’ noble feelings of giving back to the community.
