The Fifth T&W Hope Primary School Summer Camp Came to a Successful End
Strictly Observe Disciple, Be Happy and Confident, and Fly the Dream
On the afternoon of July 30, Camp Closing Ceremony of the Fifth T&W Hope Primary School “Fly the Dream” Summer Camp was held in Xinqiao and Taicang Plant at the same time, leaders at all levels of the company, Foundation Committee and support education teachers were invited to take part in the ceremony. On the Camp Closing Ceremony, splendid moments of Summer Camp were reviewed, the Star of Hope was awarded the certificate of merit, and the children expressed that they enjoyed an enriching and happy time in camp, and have learnt a lot. Wang Dawei who is Managing Director of the company and Chen Kai who is Deputy General Manager of Production & Human Resource & Administration delivered speech and expected that students can be equipped with their strong thirst for knowledge in summer camp to explore the new world, study hard, constantly strive to become stronger and experience a different life. Representatives of two camps carried out flag lowering ceremony and encouraged everyone to be an aspiring and good young person who has ideals.
Managing Director Mr. Wang said: when I heard vowing of eight student representatives, I can feel what you have gained not only includes knowledge, healthy growth and friendship, but also observing discipline strictly, being happy and confident and flying your dream, and even more. In order to bring the function of summer camp into full play, he put forward “three hopes” for children. The first hope is that the students can convey what they see and hear in the summer camp to other students after returning back to schools. The second hope is that there will be greater, more and specific hopes showing through summer camp. Why we say flying the hope instead of realizing the hope, because hope can grow up permanently and new hope emerges endlessly, we will become laze if we realize the hope. The third hope is always remembering to work hard. Hard working shall be reflected not only in environment of food, clothing and living, but also in study, learning more knowledge means spending more time and energies. In order to advance knowledge, you must learn to bear hardships at first.
After completion of the Camp Closing Ceremony, two camps held camp closing art performance, and staff spontaneously watched the performance. Each school gave their own unique performance show, or exotic dance, or instrument performance, which expressed feelings of children. What is worth mentioning is that staff of Xinqiao performed magic and interacted with children, warm-up performance given by Aite Philharmonic Society kept us being touched, and autistic children subsidized by the company also illustrated “We are happy because we have you all the way” with their acts.
