The 2009 "Quality Month" activity has been comprehensively initiated in the production base.
In order to further strengthen the quality consciousness of the entire personnel and thus improve product quality, T&W initiated the activity of Quality Month on October 15, 2009.
The Quality Month of this year started from October 15 and will last a month.
Since October 15, specific activities of the Quality Month have been conducted in the production base, including promotion of quality consciousness and evaluation of quality problems and handling. The evaluation aims mainly at product quality and major indexes including KX100, first pass yield rate (99%), sample acknowledgement pass rate (twice) and factory audit pass rate (100%). At the Quality Month conference of the QC System held on October 24, Wang Dawei, vice general manager, pointed out that the Quality Month this year should be more effective than that of the previous year in improving the quality consciousness of the entire personnel and feasible reform proposals should be developed. We truly believe that with the participation in this Quality Month activity, the entire personnel will improve their quality consciousness greatly and the management level will take a step forward on quality technique management.
At the same time, the Quality Month activity is going conducted within departments of the company. Voice of T&W will open a special column, collecting quality-related articles starting with "xxx Caused by a Mistake", through which quality problems of each department are analyzed. It is in this way that we further improve our quality consciousness bit by bit and regulate our quality behaviors.
